Aerial yoga is a practice that will change your life and offer you a new way to find health and therapeutic benefits in yoga…and will give you a path to anti-aging that is all-natural and everyone can do it!
This yoga practice uses the benefits of anti-gravity to create a feeling of bliss, grace and transformation. Not only will you feel younger, with the lengthening of the spine and the therapeutic elements of this yoga practice, you will grow taller and find freedom from many of the aches and pains we all have as a result of gravity weighing us down. Yoga, and particularly aerial yoga, helps to slow down the aging process!
All of our classes are approached and taught with the belief that yoga is about finding the pose that’s “perfect” for you, given the body that you have for today. The Aerial Yoga is a therapeutic yoga class that combines acrobatic arts and anti-gravity asana, but it’s also an accessible practice that can help you find more length in your spine and safe alignment in your poses.
Among the many physical benefits of this practice include; spinal decompression, pain relief, and ease in inversions and other challenging poses, as well as a healthy toning and tightening of the skin, a stronger and more stable core, better balance and total transformation. And it’s a potent tool for finding better alignment for your non-aerial yoga practice.
An aerial yoga “silk,” or hammock—suspended from the ceiling—that can support your weight, ease pressure, create space in your joints, decrease compression in your spine, and help you find more mobility. Hanging upside down may seem risky, but you can invert in the hammock without putting pressure on your head or spine as you would in classic inversions, which will bring you freedom from back and neck pain and injury.
The pace of an Aerial Yoga class is slow and laden with explanation, demonstration and assistance whenever you need. We have 7 hammocks, so the classes are semi-private and you will receive individual attention and instruction as you need for the full experience of transformation and bliss. It is our main priority for you to feel safe, comfortable and able to take care of yourself throughout this practice.

Yoga Jenn is an experienced yoga teacher who has been practicing yoga for over 20 years and has taught more than 8,000 hours of yoga to the Palm Springs and Los Angeles communities. Her boutique studio, Yoga Bliss, is the result of her many years of training and teaching and continued passion for helping other people to find their own path to yoga, so they may experience the grace, peace and transformation of yoga.
